Electric Nightmare is Dr. Wily's standard special move.
Overview[]
Dr. Wily pulls out a joystick as he says "Control Everything!" or "This joystick", which allows him to take over up to 3 traps.
The traps (randomly chosen) will then be color coded red blue and yellow, where pressing B takes control of red, A takes control of blue, and R takes yellow.
After taking control of a trap, Pressing A will simply move the trap through the air, while pressing B will have the trap fiercely zip across the screen as Wily does a goofy laugh.
(The 'movings' from pressing A last up to 4 seconds or if Wily presses the A Button again. It doesn't work against living traps like Spartan Jump or Ogre.)
The A Button Effects[]
- Slippery Spill just gets relocated.
- Mighty Putty just gets relocated.
- Propane can be relocated, but it only deals damage when dropped.
- The Front Page deals constant pummel damage on-contact until dropped, and it would 'fire' everyone in the match.
- La Calavera deals constant pummel damage on-contact until dropped.
- Flammabeer deals constant flame damage on-contact until dropped.
- Portal Dimensional can be moved around to affect other opponents.
- Dragonflow can be moved around to affect other opponents.
- Painting Place deals constant pummel damage on-contact until dropped.
- F-Bomb can be relocated, but it only deals damage when dropped.
The B Button Effects[]
- Slippery Spill does 4% damage with a slip.
- Mighty Putty reduces an opponent's land speed for up to 10 seconds, n' can affect their speed even further if done again (up to 2 times).
- Propane deals 20% explosion damage with small knockback.
- The Front Page deals 10% damage with moderate knockback, and 'fires' everyone in the match.
- La Calavera does 10% damage with moderate knockback.
- Flammabeer deals 12% flame damage.
- Portal Dimensional just removes the trap.
- Dragonflow just removes the trap.
- Painting Place does 6% pound damage with small knockback.
- F-Bomb deals 12% explosion damage with properties from F-Bomb's explosion.
Origin[]
Electric Nightmare comes from the episode of the same name from the 90's Megaman Cartoon, where Dr. Wily uses his new invention to control electronic equipment throughout the city (through his joystick) and cause absolute chaos throughout.
